Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the followers of Jesus Christ. On the first Pentecost after the resurrection of Jesus, the believers received the Holy Spirit and started to witness for Jesus Christ everywhere.
We will hold a Pentecost retreat from 6 pm Friday, May 17 to 1 pm Sunday, May 19. We will take this time to understand the ascension of Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit to the Church. Let’s expect the greater works of the Holy Spirit.
Here is the schedule:
Prayer Meeting: 6 pm – 7:30 pm, Friday May 17
Bible Study Sessions: 2 pm – 4:30 pm, Saturday, May 18
Pentecost Service: 10:45 am – 12:00 pm, Sunday, May 19
